Annual British 10k - more than £3300 raised!
On the 11th July 2016 Spread Some Sunshine will be represented for the 3rd consecutive year at the Vitality British 10k. Our fantastic team of 12 will be tackling this iconic route to help us to continue our work with hundreds of kids all over the world

Bi-annual Pier to Pier Swim - more than £2000 raised!
This event is a gruelling mile long open water swim between the old pier and new pier in Brighton! In August 2017 our brave swimmers will be taking the plunge. Why not come and join us?

Adopt a chook - more than £800 raised!
Our "Adopt a chook for £2" scheme has always been a roaring success and has enabled us to build 3 luxury, free range chicken sheds full of feathered friends! These sheds, built at HIV orphanages in India not only give the kids a fun chore to get involved with but produce enough eggs to provide a protein rich diet for all of them.

Annual Naked calendar - over £6000 raised!
For four years now we have produced and sold our own Sunshine cheeky calendar! We have represented every age, sex and body type with three girls calendars, a “Men at Work” lads one and even a 2016 OAP one (our best seller so far!)

Marathons and tough mudders
Sometimes our supporters kindly carry out their own challenge and direct their sponsorship to us. How lucky are we? This has included tough mudders, half marathons and open water swims! Thanks to all of our sunshine athletes and adrenalin junkies! Why not follow in their footsteps and try something crazy to make kids smile?

Here at Spread Some Sunshine we love a good fundraising bash! Our Ghana themed dinner party was a raucous affair that involved traditional African dancing and lots of booze! Keep an eye out for details of our Bollywood night coming later this year!

Golf days - £5700 raised!
In September 2015 the Woodcote Park Golf Club kindly hosted a golf day followed by a three course meal and auction. Games such as "longest drive" and "nearest the pin" were a fun way of boosting fundraising and the generosity of all who came was overwhelming!

Sunshine Swimathon - £552 raised!
In February 2016 we took part in the Purley Swimathon, an energetic and fun event arranged by the Purley Rotary Club. Our team of 9 junior swimmers competed a whopping 90 lengths and raised a whole load of cash for SSS and local children's charities! Great effort, team!

Our very own smash hit! - Hundreds of pounds raised and still on sale!
We always strive to be different and try new things and that was certainly the case when we wrote and released our very own single! Thanks to the hugely talented Daz Shields and Graham Eve we produced a cracking and very catchy song, aptly named “Spread Some Sunshine.” Download yours now on iTunes
