As many of our regular supporters will know, we have been supporting @brighter_future_international in India for a very long time. So, when they reached out to us to ask for support in purchasing some baby chicks and vegetable seeds to enable them to be more sustainable, we were really keen to help.
Raising chickens & growing vegetables provides a sustainable source of nutritious food for the community. Producing their own food reduces their reliance on expensive or unreliable external sources & gives them control over their food production and livelihoods, which is why we were so keen to help.
Thanks to your monetary donations we have purchased 50 baby chicks and a variety of vegetable seeds and everyone at Brighter Future was so thankful & look at how well the chicks (& seeds) are growing!
